Suffolk Viking Race Team - 1st May 2000

The team achieved nine 1st places in the various age categories and other team members achieved 2nd and 3rd places. There was very strong competition in the team dual slalom events and SUFFOLK's Open Team were narrowly beaten in the final by close rivals Norfolk. The VIKINGS who are sponsored by Novotel Ipswich and local company Wallis Shipping Services Limited have a squad numbering over 40 skiers now and are training hard for the next event at Brentwood in June.
