One of the youngest employees of a
Birstall company has been awarded top prize in export
examinations.
Andrew Robinson, 24, took his part one advanced certificate
in international trade and became the best achieving
student. He has worked for Wallis Shipping, of Colchester,
Essex, for two years and is currently employed at
Thomas' Europe, who manufacture Pedigree and Whiskas
pet food at Birstall - where Wallis handles all the
company's shipping requirements.
Andrew is now studying for the second part of the
paper, which is set by the Institute of Export and
would give him a qualification recognised across the
world.
