Flying the Town Flag

Colchester businessman and managing director of
Wallis Shipping, Staurt Gregory, has been flying the
flag for the town after forging links with other worldwide
shipping agencies at a major conference in Turkey.
Wallis Shipping is a member of the Security Cargo
Network, which is an international organistaion made
up of independant freight forwarding companies from
all over the globe. The SCN was formed to ensure that
members provide a quality service and every member
is carefully vetted. New business opportunities have
already been created within the group since its formation
four months ago.
Mr. Gregory said: "The Security Cargo Network
is a very focused organistaion that is dedicated to
provising excellent service within the industry and
working on global deals to keep costs at a very competitive
level. We also have a technical panelthat continuously
monitors safety and any effects in changes to regulations.
It's a great honour to be a member of such a prestigious
worldwide group."
The conference was the inaugural meeting of the SCN.
