Conference Trip Pays
off for Wallis - 13th July 2004
Colchester freight forwarding firm Wallis Shipping

Representatives from the firm, based on Severalls

part in the Conference of the Security Cargo Network.
The trip has guaranteed new business for the Colchester
Company.
SCN is a worldwide association of independent freight
forwarding companies set up to create new business
opportunities and scrutinise all aspects of the safe
transportation of the global cargo.
The organisation has 102 members representing 97
countries including the UK. Wallis Shipping managing
director Stuart Gregory said: “The Denver conference
was a great opportunity for Wallis Shipping and gave
us the chance for high quality leads that will help
with our planned expansion into the North American
market. It was also a great opportunity to promote
Colchester as a thriving business centre to a very
global audience.”
He is a director of SCN’s management group
