CONSTRUCTION LOGISTICS
Wallis was established in 1987, and while long before Construction Logistics was a recognised service sector, Wallis quickly built a solid reputation as a leading logistics partner for construction and engineering industries.

After 30 years Wallis is now providing logistics management directly to sales engineers and main contractors, while continuing to develop integrated support through all levels of construction supply chains. At Wallis we have many clients in the construction industry who choose us because they know they can trust our expertise with shipments of expensive and specialist heavy equipment.
Our expertise has been utilised in consolidating the packing and stowage of the cargo, arranging documentation and insurance right through to final site delivery. Our considerable experience enables us to anticipate unforeseen problems and allows us to adapt to changes in conditions throughout the shipment.

OUR INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING LOGISTICS PORTFOLIO
We have shipped industrial fans for some of the most important road tunnels constructed around the globe including Sydney Harbour, along with soil reinforcement materials for the Bosporous Bridge in Istanbul.
Water treatment materials for the Cairo Waste Water project, airfield lighting equipment for Chep Lap Kok airport in Hong Kong and railway signalling equipment for the China – Kowloon railway are just a few of the other construction project cargoes we have handled for satisfied clients over the years.
Our expert project teams have the tools required to send, receive and manage heavy equipment shipments to and from hard to access regions, often where there are no roads in place as yet.

SUPERVISION OF CARGO LOADING
Our heavy equipment logistic teams use our most trusted suppliers to ensure loading and lashing is always completed to the highest standard. Our teams are also part of project cargo handling operations and are often involved with the supervision (and photography) of packing and dispatch to ensure the equipment is loaded correctly.
This gives our customers confidence that their cargo is being handled safely and effectively. For containerised cargo we will also work with our customers on stowage plans to make sure loading goes to plan.
When transporting construction project cargoes our expert teams always ensure the correct project service is used, whether this be out of gauge, breakbulk, vessel charter or RO-RO we will always choose the best option.
