Our freight forwarding trainers and consultants are full-time freight and logistics professionals who customise courses to suit your exact requirements, on-site or off-site, in the UK or overseas. Our successful track record includes work for commercial companies, chambers of commerce, international banks, NGO’s and UN bodies.
EXPORT TRAINING
Our export training can be remote, at our head office in Colchester, Essex, or, ideally, at your premises, in the UK or overseas. We like to build interaction into our training programme so that you can make relevance of the knowledge. Alongside practical examples and group discussion, delegates come away from our courses feeling like they can put their new skills into action.
WHO ARE THE COURSES FOR?
We have trained many different clients. Our successful track record includes work for multi-national companies, commercial companies, chambers of commerce, international banks, NGO’s and UN bodies. We often train groups from manufacturing export departments, or whole shipping teams, and those in a new logistics role and even some of our own freight forwarding clients. We have also done one-to-one consultancy for managers taking on new export markets or new export procedures.
Our positive feedback and successful track record has earned us repeat business from many of our clients.
TRAINERS
Our freight forwarding trainers and consultants are full-time freight and logistics professionals who customise courses to suit your exact requirements, on-site or off-site, in the UK or overseas.
Our logistics trainers are known in the industry and have over 30 years of expertise to bring to your table. We endeavour to always offer training with two trainers to give two different perspectives and past experience to the session. Wallis Shipping’s Directors Stuart Gregory and Sue Gregory bring different expertise, while our partner and previous International Trade Advisor for the British Chamber of Commerce, Jim Fanshawe, from Your Export Department, brings vast knowledge of export sales in new international markets.
“It was fantastic how tailored the training was; specific to our company and needs. The flexible approach to our questions (particularly on INCOterms) was so useful and made the training interesting and enjoyable.”

Project Officer
"The training was informal, whilst being informative, everyone felt easy about asking questions and getting involved in discussions. This meant we all got a great deal out of the course, both individually and collectively."
